Daily Dairy Milk Processor

Daily Dairy is an electric home kitchen appliance to process milk to prepare cream and butter for the Turkish market. I've worked on this product concept as part of a project class during my bachelors in 2012.
After doing a market research on kitchen appliances for dairy products, it became apparent that even though there was a demand for homemade butter in the Turkish market, there was no specialized products to do the task. Since home yogurt makers were gaining popularity, I've decided to create a product concept that can process milk into cream, and cream into butter in a home setting.
The resulting design is an eccentric mixer, with a novel use of the Reuleaux triangle geometry for the beater. This geometry was interesting for my application, as to create butter, the milk cream must be cooled down with cold water, while being compressed to bunch up the milk fats.
After the geometrical relationship between a tapered Reuleaux triangle and its housing was figured out, a kinematic model was created in Solidworks to simulate the mixing action, which you can see below.
