Project Focus

I enjoy working on product design projects that have strong technical and usability aspects. I try to keep a clear idea how a product might function and how a user might interact with it. Most of my work is aimed at having tangible results and experimenting early on. Therefore I usually model, run simulations and prototype. 

I've chosen a number of projects to showcase my abilities on four topics: Human Factors, Analysis, Integration, and CAD.

​This is a novel human-robot interaction device I have developed as part of my graduation project in the laboratory. Due to a pending patent application, the work will only be published after August 2017.

INTERACT Rover is the new testing platform of the European Space Agency for haptic teleoperation experiments. Starting from conceptual design to a functional product, I have worked on the design, prototyping and the integration a complete rover.

Vehicle Communication Platform

This product is a novel access security interface that enables drivers to talk to the security guard without needing to roll down their window. This was made possible with the use of a contact microphone and speaker pair that is pushed against the vehicle window with an actuated arm. ​
